We can only conclude this is to quell some issue, or set the record straight for someone. Either way, actor Dave Prowse gets a boot in the ass and reminded who really is in charge of the empire. Again.
If it even really was him. Let's remember the press could have made this up, got it from a different source or just blamed it on him. You can bet they never got media training, and he could have been plain excited to talk about the film.
Alternatively Dave Prowse could have just screwed up, and that's that. It's done and dusted. So why after all these years keep the resentment going, banning him at CV, and now this odd positioning statement?
Enough is enough, fans could care less about this willy waving contest. We all know after 30 years that Darth was Luke's father, so can we let it go? Just let fans that want to see the green cross code man at conventions have his last few years with some dignity. Even if he is 'Dark Lord of the 'forgot to shut his mouth', don't these films tell us hate and anger are the dark side?
