It's no secret that George Lucas & Lucasfilm are constantly tinkering away on Star Wars for a forthcoming TV series, cartoons, several rehashes of DVD's [expect more next year] and a rumoured 3D version of his movies.
Initially made mockups & test runs for the 3D versions were made for this years DVD menu re-offerings, but many believe some of these are indicitive of the future re-releases of the movies with yet more digital tweaks, nips and tucks.
