If you don't use an
RSS/ATOM feed reader to get all your news and updates via one site, then your really missing out on a great time saver. So far for me & many others
Bloglines has and still will be the winner for some time. Why, simply usability, it just works, and works well.
There are of course many others such as
Newsgator [now with a basic very Bloglines like offering] but many have a much more limited offering, or require a paid for subscription.
Google have long had their own version, but up until now it was a pretty lame affair. Having all your feeds shoved in to a "latest posted" single page, was just awful and a definition of the word unusable. Apparently the feedback has stuck.
Now with [a much more Bloglines list of feeds structure] some nice new features, and visual freshen up,
Google reader has now finally became much more of a contender. Still not going to get me away from Bloglines just yet, but considering the lack of change at Bloglines since Askjeeves.com purchased this over a year ago, they had better be quick before the ca$h rich big G gets further enhancements made to their feed reader.
