They are huge (12") but damn once they are on the card back they do look fab. I nabbed the Boba last year when Gentle Giant brought these out, but gotta grab that Stormie this time around.

Thanks to the heaps of peeps who sent this in! I just saw this via Geekologie and it seems like everyone else is over this like a rash, and no wonder, this is pretty cool stuff, but I'll let Brandon Peat, the artist say it best:
When my wife Emma and I found out we were pregnant with our first child, Tycho, we began thinking of fun ways to decorate a baby boy’s room. Since we live in an apartment and aren’t allowed to paint the walls, that meant posters or prints of some kind. And, being artists, we naturally wanted to create those prints ourselves. In the end, we decided to illustrate an alphabet of characters from one of our favorite franchises – Star Wars.Selecting each letter was a lengthy process. The characters who made the cut are primarily from the Original Trilogy (no Prequel characters here!), with a few from the Expanded Universe of books, comics, and video games. We also tried to keep the illustrations as non-violent as possible (in the words of Wuher, “No blasters!”) for maximum kid-friendliness.
I sketched the basis for each character in pencil, which Emma then rendered and colored in Illustrator – it was very much a collaborative process. The project was her idea, even...man I love having a nerdy wife.
Seriously too much cool here to list every one, but make sure you go check it out. AMAZING stuff!

A long time Star Wars fanboy favourite out there is the work of Adywan (aka Adrian Sayce). He's most famous for his 'A new hope' revisited edition. Which contains a ton of corrected colours, added images, and continuity corrections, along with enhancements throughout. Many of which I never even noticed until watching his cut.
You can literally see every.single.change via another fan's Picasa account. It is nothing short of phenomenal work (wait till you chceck the Cantina changes!) and we all hope Lucasfilm take the changes made in to consideration, when new versions come out, as this work only highlights how many small things were wrong with the film in the first place. (Dr.Evazans arm-how did I miss that!)

Included as an extra on his cut and not part of the film is humourous but also awesome looking Alderaan extended sequence, worth watching just for a special appearance by one character. 8D
As many of you may know his work on Empire revisited is under way and had some hiccups when a drive failed and all work was thought lost, but now back on track you can look forward to July(ish) 2011 to see that being tweaked. A sneak peak of which is below, along with a trailer we previously posted.

I've shown the Han card/close up, which is such a great figure but, Fett, Greedo, and R2 and Threepio in there.
Love the figures, colours and poses he has picked, and this really shows off how close Hasbro are getting with figures these days, as this is almost movie quality.
Brilliant! I collect some Absolut bottles, disco and others, so I'd love a Star Wars version!

Greedo was played by three people due to the shooting schedule of A New Hope. When Greedo is with Han Solo, these shots were filmed in England with Harrison Ford and Paul Blake as Greedo. However various shots and tests in the US were done by Maria De Aragon (hence the heels!)
Add to this there were five actors who kinda played Vader and you can see the complexity of film making!
